1. How to use USB Encryptor?

Open the downloaded compressed archive file and copy or move the executable ude.exe in it onto your USB drive, removable drive, memory card or memory stick. Now you can run it the same way as you run any other executables on Windows.

888888.

3. How to modify the software’s password?

You cannot modify the password if you are using a trial version.You can change it only after you buy a license and turn the software into a full version.Then you can click the “Change Password” button to modify the password.

4. Guide for the user interface

On the top of the main window is a row of function buttons. Each button can be use to perform one function. Below that, there are two file lists. The one on the left displays unencrypted files and folders on the current drive. The one on the right displays encrypted files and folders on this drive.

5. Guide for encryption

Click Encrypt All. This will automatically encrypt all files and folders on the current drive. To encrypt a single file or folder, select with the mouse the file or folder you want to encrypt in the file list on the left, and click the Encrypt button.

Click Decrypt All. This will automatically decrypt all files and folders on the current drive. To decrypt a single file or folder, select with the mouse the file or folder you want to decrypt in the file list on the right, and click the Decrypt button.

7. Use of Folder Disguise

Please first select with the mouse a folder you want to disguise in the list on the left, and then click the Folder Disguise button.

Then select a disguise type in the window that pops up and select OK to complete folder disguise.

When a folder is disguised, you will not be able to see the files and folder in it. This makes a good protection.

8. Remove the disguise over a folder

Please first select with the mouse a folder you want to remove disguise in the list on the left and then click the Remove Disguise button.

9. What if I forget the software's password?

Enter “SOS“ in the password box and click OK. Then enter your registration code in the Enter Registration Code dialog box that pops up and click OK. The password will be reset to the default: 888888.

10. What if an encrypted file or folder does not appear in the list on the right?

If this happens, right-click on the file list on the right, and select First Aid Center on the pop-up menu. Enter First Aid Center and click the Start Search button. Search results will be listed in the list at left. You can select an encrypted file or folder and click Decrypt.

This file or folder will then be restored to the unencrypted state.

If no file is found but you are sure certain files or folders are in the encrypted state though not shown, this very possibly means the disk is damaged. You are suggested to use a data recovery program to recover damaged data.

11. What if the executable ude.exe itself is missing?

It does not matter. Just put another one there.

12. Are there issues that need special attention during the use of this software?

a) Before upgrading to a newer version, you are suggested to decrypt all encrypted files and folders first.

b) If you want to convert the current partition’s file system format, MAKE SURE to decrypt all encrypted files and folders BEFORE THAT.

13. How to order USB Encryptor?

Click the Buy Now button at the bottom of the software’s main window. This will open the software’s online order page. Complete the order by following instructions on the page.

When your order is complete, click on the Enter Registration Code button at the bottom of the software’s main window. Copy the ”Machine code” displayed in the Enter Registration Code dialog box, and send it together with your order ID to dogoodsoft@gmail.com.

We will send the registration code back to you at our earliest convenience.

When you receive the registration code, enter it in the Enter Registration Code dialog box and click OK. Now your USB Encryptor will be turned into a full version with all limitations lifted.

Attention: One registration code can only be used in one partition of a USB device. If you change a USB device or format the disk, the machine code may be changed and the registration code may become invalid. Please contact us in this case.
